Effective date: 11 October 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jlance, the AI-powered managed project execution platform ("Jlance", "we", "us"). Jlance is a stand-alone product licensed under Jentry Infinite Limited (RC 9623613), a company registered in Nigeria ("Jentry Infinite"), which owns the Jlance technology and brand. When you use Jlance, your agreement is with Jlance. By creating an account or using Jlance, you agree to these Terms.
Jlance is a stand-alone product licensed under Jentry Infinite Limited. These Terms sit under the Jentry Infinite Master Terms of Service & Use Policy, which applies to every product licensed under Jentry Infinite. If these Terms conflict with the Master Terms, the Master Terms prevail unless these Terms expressly say otherwise.
Jlance lets businesses and individuals ("Clients") submit problems and projects, and have them scoped, planned and delivered with the help of vetted specialists ("Experts"). Jlance manages the process: AI-assisted scoping, matching, milestone tracking, quality review and payment handling.
Jlance personnel use an administrative portal to oversee projects. Admin access is limited to Jlance staff and authorised partners.
Age. Jlance is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may suspend or close it.
Experts are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents or partners of Jlance or of the Client.
Timelines and estimates are good-faith projections, not guarantees.
Any change to scope, deadline or price must be submitted as a change request and approved through the platform before work on it starts. Work outside the approved brief may be charged separately.
Jlance uses artificial intelligence to draft briefs, estimates, summaries, matches and other outputs.
How your content is processed by AI providers is explained in our Privacy Policy.
If a Client and an Expert disagree on a deliverable, raise it through the platform. Jlance will review the evidence and decide how to proceed, including whether to release, hold or refund milestone funds. This process does not limit your legal rights.
Experts confirm that:
Jlance and Experts will protect non-public Client information with reasonable care, use it only to deliver the project, and disclose it only to people and service providers who need it, as described in our Privacy Policy, or where the law requires. This does not apply to information that is public through no fault of ours or that we already lawfully held. Jlance may require Experts to sign a separate non-disclosure agreement.
You must not:
Jlance relies on third parties such as payment processors, hosting providers and AI model providers. We are not responsible for their services, but we choose them with care and require appropriate protection of your data.
Jlance is an early-stage product. Features may change, be limited or be removed, and the service may be interrupted. We work to avoid data loss, but you should keep your own copies of important files and deliverables.
You may close your account at any time once open projects are settled. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users or Jlance, or if the law requires. On termination, amounts owed remain payable, and clauses that by nature should survive (including payment, IP, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will survive.
Jlance is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service, or that AI outputs or Expert deliverables will meet your expectations or be error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Jlance is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project in the [12] months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes any rights you have as a consumer under Nigerian law.
You will cover Jlance against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your unlawful use of Jlance.
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies. They form part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the platform at least [14] days before they take effect. Continuing to use Jlance after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties will first try to settle any dispute in good faith. If that fails, the dispute will be referred to [mediation / arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023 / the courts of Lagos State]. [Confirm with counsel.]
These Terms, the Master Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are the whole agreement between you and Jlance. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a restructuring or sale. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
